The United Kingdom will be sensationalised by amapiano through Kamo Mphela and Leehleza's tour.
Kamo Mphela and Leehleza are the real ama-international, as amapiano electrifying acts will be touring England and Ireland. These exciting news were posted on Twitter by @media_angelo and Kamo confirmed by retweeting.
Leehleza, a DJ, artist and vocalist hailing from Mpumalanga, blew-up with staggering hits produced by the king of amapiano, Kabza De Small. 'Umshove', 'Bamba La' and 'Amabele Shaya' were heavy underground clubs' chants that couldn't be contained there and eventually erupted nationally.
These songs drove momentum for Leehleza's brand; he got more bookings and stars like Sphectacula & DJ Naves and DJ Sumbody began working with him. And, he was gone.
As Mzansi was getting under amapiano's spell, more movements broke-out, using social media. Like dancers sharing videos of themselves, twisting and popping their bodies to the genre's hypnotic rhythm, helping them gain fame. Leading to discoveries as Kamo Mphela.
Within a short period, Miss Mphela went from being a social media dancing star to being featured on bangers by MFR Souls, Da L.E.S, Major League DJZ, Busiswa and The Scorpion Kings (Kabza De Small & DJ Maphorisa), to mention a few. Last year (December 2020), we saw her 'Twentee - EP' being released under Major League Music.
Also, her stardom has attracted corporate brands like Puma, Telkom and Unilever to collaborate with her. Hhayi, Kamo Mphela can't be stopped.
Now, Leehleza and Kamo Mphela will represent SA and especially amapiano in the UK. Their 'Amapiano Therapy' tour will be for three days.
They're scheduled to start at Dublin, Ireland, on 30 July. Their second performance will be on 31 July, at Birmingham, England. London, England, is planned to be last on 1 August.
