Focalistic's 2021 is going splendid thusfar. His 'Ke Star' remix featuring Davido and Vigro Deep is charted on Billboard's Top Triller Global Chart and he recently toured north of Africa. Spotify used the hit to promote their African Heat playlist, which the video's dance was choreographed by Kamo Mphela.
Now, the leading streaming platform has gone further with their PR. They have put up the playlist's billboard in New York Times Square and Focalistic is it face.
Times Square is a commercial intersection, attracting tourists and entertainers. The square is located at Manhattan, New York, USA and it draws about 50 million visitors annually, and 330,000 people pass everyday.
Focalistic posted the picture on his social media accounts saying, "Came a long way from 2016. This is a hood dream!! New York Times Square Billboard!!! 2021, we go hard! First of many." He also thanked Spotify and closed off with, "ASE TRAP TSE KE PINA TSA KO KASI"
Fellow colleagues celebrated with him, with Metro FM's DJ, Mo Flava saying, "Yeses mfana this is BIG."
