A letter from Lvovo

Siphelele Shezi

Time to act has arrived South Africa and it can not wait any longer.  Unite against human trafficking.

I hate to even have to write this to drive awareness because this should be a burning issue everywhere and every South African should be worried and involved.

Human Trafficking is taking a different corner in South Africa and only US the people of South Africa can put an end to it. So this is a call to you reading this to join us as we embark on an awareness campaign, unite with us to formulate strategies in how this could be put to an end, also to identify and notify other civil society who have resources and expertise to assist us where they can in this mission.

If you're out there reading this as a graphic designer and can donate your services please reach out, if you're a lawyer and would want to assist us with legal advice please reach out because we get arrested by authorities when we protest and we dont enough money to bail out people, if you have a venue in Durban/JHB/CPT where we intend on hosting the first meetings and dialogue for this campaign please offer us your venue, if you can organize bottled water please halla, if you're a private investigator and would assist in planning and tracking, those who are communications and tech gurus please come forward, anybody that can assist with anything to drive this please come forward.

The taxi industry bafethu niyaz nine power and nino action, please siyacela nifake isandla nani. Event organizers, venue owners you control the nightlife and your collective input can bring much needed change and have a huge impact!

This must be OUR mission, leave out authorities remember this affects the general public, not them we can no longer afford to be tweeting and hoping they would act. If Government can bring out the army for Covid why can't they bring out the army for Human Trafficking? The brutal murder and enslavement of innocent people is not a pandemic worthy of such attention?

The harsh reality that everyone of you must know it that NO ONE IS COMING

The harsh reality that everyone of you must know it that NO ONE IS COMING TO SAVE US BUT OURSELVES. WE ARE THE HEROES WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.

If authorities trusted to give people food parcels during a pandemic, steal those parcels do you think we can rely on them for such a huge task? I doubt it. It's time for us to get up and start fixing our own country.

They will try to distract us with negative comments - mute and focus on the cause, less yada yada and more action!
