DJI FPV drone is the most immersive way to experience the excitement of FPV flight.
DJI is popular for user friendly commercial drones allowing people to create awesome content enhancing their cinematography. With the DJI FPV, which comes with a drone, goggles, remote controller and most of the necessary accessories to fly quickly and safely, the company is set to break boundaries.
This is their new first-person view drone, "DJI wanted to make a splash in the drone-flying community with a quad that toes the line," said reviewer Mathew Reyes (of Gizmodo). There are features missing, though, that could've made it above average, he believes.
The DJI FPV, perfect for beginners and experts, has three flight modes; N (normal) mode is similar to other traditional DJI drones like the Mavic, S (sport) mode is a hybrid flight mode bridging the gap between N mode's stability and more dramatic maneuvers of typical FPV drones and M (manual) mode with the full FPV flight experience. Users will be able to navigate in variety of spaces and see the world differently. For experts, they can try the DJI Motion Controller, a device enabling flight control through hand movements.
Worth R29 000, it weighs 800 g with the battery and has a solid-bodied design. The quad comes equipped with a 4K camera shooting up to 60 fps and 4x slow motion at up to 120 fps.
The DJI FPV goggles are crystal clear, have a low-latency HD transmission and a super-wide view of the environment. 140 km/h is its maximum speed and it can reach 100 km/h in two seconds, giving footage that's stunning.
