We made our way to LPC on a sunny day for lunch and we were not disappointed. From the time you drive into the Leeu Estates where the restaurant is situated, you will be taken by the sheer beauty of the place. The restaurant is itself is beautiful and has a lot of spots for picture taking. I recommend walking the grounds after your meal to take in the beauty.

The menu is minimal, they only have 2 options (both with vegetarian options) The Chef’s Experience (9 courses @ R995 per person) and The Reduced Menu (7 courses @ R695 per person). Please note the pricing is slightly more for dinner and these don’t include the wine pairing option. We opted for the reduced menu, because honestly eating more than 7 courses in one sitting is not for the faint-hearted and we shared a delicious bottle of the locally produced MCC called Morena.

The entire experience was exceptional. The food was delicious and the service was superb. It was great for lunch and I’m sure it’s as wonderful for dinner. It’s perfect for a date or lunch/dinner with mates.

I can’t wait to go back over and over again. It’s worth the trek into Franschhoek and it’s worth every cent.
