Three months ahead of The Matrix Resurrections‘ premiere, Warner Bros. has begun its promotional rollout for the hotly-anticipated fourth installment to The Matrix franchise. Aside from a preliminary poster, the film studio has unveiled an interactive website, titled WhatIsTheMatrix.com, where fans can gain access to one of more than 180,000 unique teaser videos.Upon arrival at the site, users are able to choose between taking a red or blue pill, each of which leads to various sneak peeks and character narrations from the upcoming film.
The movie enlists Matrix veterans Keanu Reeves as Neo, Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe, Lambert Wilson as The Merovingian, and Daniel Bernhardt as Agent Johnson. The full trailer will release on Thursday, September 9. The Matrix Resurrections is slated to land in theaters and on HBO Max on December 22.
